Summary0020506: Using "Panel" term is inconsistent and confusing
DescriptionThere is a lot of confusion what is a term "panel" used for. Is it for Left/Right/Bottom? Is it for Tree/Playing/Preview? Or maybe something else? You refer to these Tree/Right/Preview as "panel elements" on the Layout page of Options dialog box, but I don't know anybody is using the term e.g. "Preview panel element" - everybody is calling it just "Preview panel".

To avoid the confusion I suggest:
1. The existing "panel elements" should be called just "panels", e.g. Preview panel;
2. The existing "panels" could be called e.g. "sidebars", as is the case with Firefox and VSCode, e.g. Left sidebar.

The top/bottom sides of window could also have their sidebars, in my opinion that term should not be reserved only for vertical edges.

That leave us only with the "Main panel (bottom)". I don't know how that "panel" could be called, but I think you are referring it like that only on the Layout page, to allow users to have player only beneath the main tracklist, but not beneath Left/Right panels. Honestly, is there anyone who is using that option? I think that all users have player in the bottom panel, eventually in the top player, but very unlikely in the Main panel (bottom).

I think that 'sidebar' is generally used always just for left/right bars..
So for the 'Bottom panel' we would need to use "Bottom bar" terminilogy..

Assigned to Rusty to review/decide the wording..
