Summary | 0001952: Technical Information for many MPC files is unknown
Description | I've posted a couple of MPC files for which MM fails to display technical information (e.g. bitrate, time, etc) which would normally appear on the 'info' tab or the main panel. According to Klaus Dickel (1942-457@onlinehome.de): MediaMonkey 2.4.2 is not able to read the technical information of Mpc files encoded with Mpc encoder profile ' Radio ' and lower ( Quality 5 and lower) . For encoding with this profiles streamversion SV 7.1 is used from the Mpc encoder. Mpc files encoded with encoder profile ' Standard ' and higher ( Quality 6 and higher ), streamversion SV 7.0 is used. The technical infos of these files are displayed correct.

Due to Update of MP+ Encoder to 1.15, I have started making support for Stream Version 7.1 |
Temp fix is done it now reads 7.1 Streams. I'm rewriting MPC header rading so it will support future versions of MPC. If needed I can send/Update Sources? |
I suggest we include this in 2.5. i.e. send Jiri the sources when you're ready, but there's no huge rush to fit this into 2.4. |
Fixed tested and sources are updated. |
Peke, I haven't tried it yet, please before I include it in MM, review the code, there is one warning upon compilation (and one hint), I suppose it isn't anything really important but I'd like to be sure, this shouldn't be present. Also, I commited f_mpc project files (.cfg, .dof) as they are used for release. You can modify them for your personal needs (debug info, etc.), but please don't commit them, on SVN they are supposed to always be in release status. |
Peke, there's still one warning when f_mpc is compiled, please review it. |
Rechecked and sources updated. |
Included in build 895. |

Verified 895. |
