|Summary||0014210: MediaMonkey doesn't confirm folder deletion in My Computer|
|Description||If user removes a folder from the Media Tree in the My Computer node no delete confirmation is shown (this is shown for file deletions).|
|Tags||No tags attached.|
|Fixed in build|
It shows the system dialog for moving to recycle bin (tested both Win7 and Win10), probably you supressed the dialog in Windows settings? How it works in Windows Explore for you?
User is objecting that the default behaviour in Windows 8, 8.1 & 10 is to not show the system deletion confirmation dialog on folder deletion per http://techdows.com/2015/02/make-windows-10-display-delete-confirmation-dialog.html
The user personally would rather not see the file deletion dialog and suggested for MediaMonkey to have its own option to enable or disable deletion prompts (and not rely on system wide configuration options).
Probably makes sense to unify it with other delete confirmation prompts, we just don't have the strings like "recycle bin" localized.
Assigned to Rusty for wording suggestions and revision.
