The issue seems to not be specific to Android 4.3
Report in forum with Android 4.1.2 using build 162: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/posting.php?mode=reply&f=21&t=73591#pr373986

Another report with build 165 on Android 2.3.5: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=73281
Note that in Heronheart's case, Playlists seem to periodically disappear.

This was specific issue for Android 4.3 where vold.fstab, file used to get storage configuration, is not available (it was renamed and it is not readable without root).

Described issues is related to playlists disappearing. I have created new issues for this: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=11298

Re-opening as user at ticket ALK-833258 , testing with a Huawei P6 is still experiencing this problem with build 165.

A user at http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=73566&start=15#p377064 is also experiencing the same problem.

This Huawei has incorrect vold.fstab file. So I had to make an exception for this model. I've also fixed another related vold.fstab parsing issue reported by users.
