Summary | 0000946: Tree shortcuts: nodes sometimes fail to display at the top of the Window
Description | When the user clicks shortcuts from the Tree Navigation Toolbar, the tree occasionally fails to display correctly: instead of displaying the selected node at the top of the window, it displays it at the bottom. To reproduce this, randomly select the following node shortcuts one after another: Artist node, album node, genre node. On some occasions, the node will be displayed at the bottom instead of at the top.

Raising to 'high' -- this is a major annoyance. e.g. sometimes when selecting a node such as playlists, the node appears at the bottom of the tree view, so it's impossible to even see what playlists are contained within the node. |
|
The VirtualTree method used for this would probably need to be improved in order to support this (i.e. positioning a node we want to see to the top of VT, whenever it's possible). Assigning to Petr for a review. |

Resolved. When user clicks shotcut (in navigation toolbar), the selected node is allways on top of the VT window (if it's possible). |

Test note--validate the following user-reported issue as well: When in the directory tree under Album or Artist, if I press a letter key on the keyboard, e.g., 'P', the cursor advances to the the first album or artist name starting with P, but positions it at the bottom of the window. I then have to press [Page Down] to see the rest of the albums or artists starting with P. Shouldn't it position the first record meeting the search criteria at the top? |
