| Description | Some users want to set certain songs (library and tag) as "play only" or "locked", so that their properties can't be changed through MediaMonkey (including scripts). Currently this is sometimes archieved by changing the file's permissions to read only, or by accessing the files from a write-protected network path. However, that way, the library fields can still be changed. One of the reasons is to make sure that correctly tagged and verified songs can't be altered anymore in any way. Ratings and playback information (including the "custom" fields?) should stay editable. | ||||
