It looks that some conversation in Unicode<->UTF do not work correctly.
I have some Cuban music which make that problem replicapable.

Tested in MM 2.5.5.997 and no issues there MM3.0 read that tag wrong.
Test File is uploaded to FTP.

I could not replicate with other files than MP3s.

Peke, the tags displayed identically in MM 2.x and 3.x (except that 3.x included correct accents for some of the letter E's). The track didn't have ratings in either MM 2.x or 3.x.

Note that I tested by viewing the track in the My Computer node. Effectively, I could not find a bug.

Please re-assign the bug to me once you either a) confirm that the bug doesn't exist b) confirm that it does exist with another file.

I have post Screen shots Of all three versions of MM on FTP.
It looks that MM 3.0.0.17 had problem and that it is fixed in 3.0.0.18.
