| Description | Due to the current layout, most users will not even realize that MM has internet radio functionality. I recommend the following very basic changes to resolve this. 1) Add 'Net Radio' node just below 'My Computer' node 2) The node should be organized as follows: . -Net Radio . . -Shoutcast directory . . -Icecast directory 3) This may not be possible, but it would be great if the 'Net Radio' node could behave exactly as a standard playlist (the only difference being that it cannot be deleted or contain children). That way, users could just drag stations that they like into the Net Radio node and all their stations would be stored (this already works correctly--i.e. stations can be 'dragged' into a 'Favorite Radio Stations' playlist, so there hopefully isn't really any new functionality to add, just a bit of re-organization. We could even pre-populate the 'Net Radio' node with a few radio stations so that users would understand that it can be used in the manner described. | ||||

I'd propose to defer this post 2.5, radios probably won't be our main target soon and this isn't an easy fix. |

As discussed over IM, let's implement 1 & 2 for MM 2.5 and defer 3) for a future release. Note: Jiri commented that we may want to give the user the option of hiding the Net Radio node. |
