Summary0020913: Default folders and their locations
Description1) Thumbs was moved out of Temp as part of 0018991, but is a Temp folder and should be there. VideoThumbnails is also stored outside the Temp folder. Users can either change Temp location or exclude MediaMonkey from cleaners. This would help support and those that do move the temp folder.

2) Certain temporary files are less temporary. We should explore options to save them with the media files themselves. This would help those that clear the library, or use multiple installs on the same files (common on a home network). This could be optional.
a) Waveforms could be saved with the media file
b) Artist Images, a bit more complicated on how to deal with this, but would be beneficial with media files (or embedded as Artist image per Album Artist value).
c) Video Thumbnails could be saved with the video file

3) Separate short term temporary files (like transcoded files, cached cloud files & cached internet files) form longer term temporary files (like Artwork files which could be used forever)

4) After any changes, if any, all Cache folders should be documented as to where they are, and what they do. This could be a separate KB or part of https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/knowledge-base/mediamonkey-install-config/modifying-the-mediamonkey-db-and-ini-files/ Developers please provide a comprehensive list for documentation.

5) Add a Clear Temp option to Tools > Options > General. It would present a dialog with checkboxes for each type of temp/cached folder MediaMonkey uses. It could put things like WaveForms in separate not recommended to clean section (but give users the options anyway).
