Summary0020592: Google casting fails to update play count / history (regression)
DescriptionAs reported by several users at https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=105423 , as early as in build 1156 both play count and play history fail to update when casting to Google cast devices.

I was able to replicate this as follows using Pixel 5a (Android 14) casting to Google Chromecast Audio device with MMA 1160:

1 Create a Playing list of:
a Meu Destino
b All that we perceive
c Full circle
d Footloose
2 Play tracks a,b
--> Both last played, and play count increase by 1
3 Activate Google casting
4 Tap track A so that the Playing list restarts and plays both tracks a,b
--> Neither the last played nor the play count increase

Verified 1161
Tested counter, skip counter, play history, with player controlled via MM and/or notification bar, and with re-ordering tracks (all while Google casting).

Everything seems to work except the skip counter--however, that fails even with regular playback, so it's a different bug.

Closing.
