Most commonly used in JP and TS streams, but I see these are used also for hearing assisted subtitles and also for non English movies and non English speaking sentences.

RESEARCH OBSERVATION NOTE: Looks like TTML (Timed Text Markup Language) and XML (eXtensible Markup Language) is used which can relate to Timed Karaoke format and can be used over the video or Audio with visualization as n TBD in future improved implementation of ARIB Subtitles
