Summary | 0020844: In-line edit can fail in Playing node
Description | On random occasions in-line edit can stop working in the Playing node set to List. Navigating away and back doesn't fix this, but using a new tab will allow in-line edit in the new tab.
Steps To Reproduce | There are no steps to consistently reproduce. This is a rare problem. [EDIT (by Ludek)]: 1) Go to Playing node [List view] 2) Go to a large auto-playlist and scroll to the middle of the playlist, double-click a song to start playback and populate new tracks into Playing 3) Go to Playing node [List view] again => Now F2 fails to start editing!

Seen again on 3043. but hadn't seen this in a long time. Playing in List View stopped allowing in-line edits, Rating still worked. - Playing switched to List (by Album), allowed edits - Playlist set to List allowed edits - Playing in new tab set to List also allowed edits Switching back to the original Playing in List mode still fails edits. New log added, screencast unfortunately failed. |

Hmm, I also replicated this once, but haven't figured out the steps yet.. |

OK, I found consistent steps finally: 1) Go to Playing node [List view] 2) Go to a large auto-playlist and scroll to the middle of the playlist, double-click a song to start playback and populate new tracks into Playing 3) Go to Playing node [List view] again => Now F2 fails to start editing! |

Possibly related: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=521159#p521159 Note that I've not used those steps when this occurs. I generally add files to the Playing from Pinned Location node per Album. I may have browsed AutoPlaylists before this happens though. |

Closing for now, as this a rare occurrence. will reopen if I come across this again. |
