Summary0018493: webp support for Artwork
Descriptionwebp images offers greater compression for a given level of quality than jpeg/png. For this reason, many websites are increasingly using webp, so it wouldn't be surprising for users to have album art in that format. With that in mind, it could make sense for MM to be able to either:
- auto-convert webp images to a supported format
- directly support linked or tagged webp images.

To evaluate: which of the above approaches is preferable.

Assigned to me for feedback on Tag formats and devices that actually support showing WebP as Album art eg. Other Windows apps, Android, iOS, OEM, ...

Pushed to 5.0.4 as I noticed strange behavior hen I Drag and drop image from web page it is saved as WEBP format, but they are actually JPGs.

I am more thinking to convert WEBP -> JPG as for example my car headunit native player do not support WEBP album arts (forced save in MP3/FLAC file).

Related to 0019218 where You Drag and drop JPG Image from browser screen and it was sent to MM as WEBP object even actual RAW data is fully fledged JPG.

As my Head Unit do not support WEBP as Album Art, but if I rename .WEBP -> .JPG then Album art is read normally as expected.

I would assume that WEBP is in most cases almost same as JPG/PNG
