Summary0017835: Dialogs sometimes fail to render (appear black)
DescriptionThere have been a few reports of users opening dialogs and the dialog fails to render.
- Robojock indicates that it sometimes occurs for dialogs that open in the middle of the screen (1900x1200 scale:100%), and that the unrendered dialog can be made to appear by dragging offscreen and back onscreen.
- LL indicated that it occasionally occurs when a rip completes after the screen has turned off due to power settings (even with build 2401). [edit: when I try this, the 'Verify ripped tracks' screen opens after the rip, but only after I re-activate the screen i.e. it doesn't open while the screen has been turned off due to power savings mode]

I'm unable to replicate, and although we don't have any useful debug logs at this point, I'm opening this bug because it's been reported by 2 people and because we'd previously expected that updating to the latest chromium would solve this, but it hasn't.

Yes, this still happens on 2407 and was seen on 2 PCs. It may be related to screen going to sleep and window being rendered when screen is asleep/off.

Most probably related to chromium rendering issue

I can confirm that this still occurs on 2665. When the screen is off the Rip dialog is rendered invisible. It's likely because the Windows things there is no display attached (DisplayPort) when the screen is off.
