| Description | There are a couple of issues with the View menu atm: - Some users expect to find the Main Panel view configuration items here - There are several entries for UI elements (e.g. Media Tree, Player, Playing, Preview) that duplicate & conflict with functionality already in the layout view (Right Panel, Left Panel, etc.), e.g. if the Bottom Panel isn't enabled and the user enables the Player --> nothing happens. To resolve we can make the following changes: 1) View menu: + New Tab --------------- [x] Left panel [x] Right panel [x] Bottom panel (a) **new: any active panel should appear here) [*] Layout --------------- [x] Media Tree (b)**Remove*) [x] Player (**Remove*) [x] Playing (**Remove*) [x] Preview (**Remove*) [ ] Visualization [x] Menu bar --------------- Skin > Mode > [x] Party mode ---------------- Find more from Same (c)**move to the Edit menu's Search section) Main panel view > (d)**new: this replica of the main panel view configurator can appear here) ---------------- -- Refresh This would result in the following view menu: + New Tab --------------- [x] Left panel [x] Right panel [x] Bottom panel [x] Menu bar .*. Layout --------------- [ ] Visualization [ ] Party mode Mode > Skin > ---------------- Main panel view > ---------------- -- Refresh In addition, a couple of tweaks to the Options > Layout config for consistency & a couple of other tweaks: 2) Rename: Tracklist panel --> Main panel (since it can now contain items other than the tracklist) 3) The Main panel should be force-enabled (since afaik it's always active) 4) Change the order of the panels from the layout below so that there's more logic to it: Top panel . .
