Tested 2175 and I'm still seeing a couple of issues:

2) On initiating the search in the Music (Browser) view, only the Artists icon appears (the tracks section is empty)! I can replicate this as follows (it occurs 50% of the time):
1 Enter Music (Browser) view
2 Type temple ENTER (making sure to press ENTER _before_ MM has processed the final 'e' in temple (typing temple slowly and pressing ENTER never triggers the bug).

3) On one occasion, when attempting to replicate this problem an endless hourglass resulted. Crashlog: C1EB7918 .

2) I cannot replicate. Could you please try whether it still happens in 2176 and generate a debug log / video ?

3) Re C1EB7918: I see it is exception:
Cannot create file "D:\PortableApps\MediaMonkey 5\Portable\persistent.json". The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

Petr added writing of persistent.json five seconds after each view change (in course of 0015538) and the file was probably used by another MM5 instance resulting in this exception.
