Summary0008139: Artwork: Images Save As do not set Image extension in dialog
DescriptionI have noticed strange behavior that can be easily fixed without any risk of regressions.

Using Save as to save Artwork/thumbs, open Save ass with All files Mask instead of Image extension.

So if image is .jpg and you enter cover.png file will be saved wit wrong extension.

Note: if no extension is set than correct extension is applied.
TagsNo tags attached.
Fixed in build1415

I don't understand the sentence:
"Using Save as to save Artwork/thumbs, open Save ass with All files Mask instead of Image extension."

Which 'Save as' you mean? Could you describe exact steps?

I tries following:
1. D&D one jpg file into 'Art & Details' window
2. 'Add Artwork' dialog appears
3. Changed Image Filename to cover.png
=> file was saved as 'cover.thm'

So I guess that the bug is that it should be saved as 'cover.png', right?

I've got it, you mean to go to
File Properties -> Artwork tab and right-click an image and select 'Save as...' ?

Then in my case it is saved as cover.png, but the file content is still jpg, i.e. the issue is that it wasn't converted to png, right?

Both issues are fixed in build 1415.

i.e. JPG is correctly converted to PNG in case of 'cover.png' filename (same for BMP and JPG)
