Summary	0008133: Artwork can't be added to a Video with a thumbnail
Description	1 Scan a folder that has a single Movie. -->Thumbnail is generated 2 Paste an image into the Art&Details Window Choose to save the image to the file folder as folder.jpg 3 When prompted, delete the thumbnail 4 Go to the files Properties -->The thumbnail isn't deleted! 5 Delete the thumbnail OR move the image from step 2 so that it's the first image -->The thumbnail continues to display in AA view! There doesn't seem to be any way to get the image to stick.

rusty 2011-07-13 16:52 administrator ~0026765 Last edited: 2011-07-13 17:01	To better illustrate, here's a video: http://screencast.com/t/ByMdN7rW It shows several problems: 1) Thumbnail sometimes fails to update in the AA/A&D views 2) Thumbnail fails to update in the A&D window 3) Prompts to remove artwork from the library (not sure why??) 4) When pasting images via Art&Details view, the Properties/Artwork tab shows nothing 5) When pasting/re-ordering/deleting images via the Properties/Artwork tab, the AA view shows 'no image' for the artwork Note: in the above video 'Apply to all..' was enabled.

rusty 2011-07-13 17:44 administrator ~0026768	Upon further analysis of the above, and performing the same set of tests with 'Apply to all files in the album/series' disabled, I would summarize as follows: 1) Thumbnail is slow to update in the AA/A&D views (several seconds after generation) 2) Thumbnail fails to update upon generation in the A&D (Selected tab) window. Selecting the file triggers an update. I'll enter a new bug for this. 3) On Updates to all files in the series, MM needlessly prompts to remove artwork from the library (even when no artwork has been deleted). This is most likely related to an incomplete fix to http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=8019 . I'll re-open that bug. 4) When pasting images via Art&Details window, the image fails to update correctly (it shows a 'no image' image in Properties > Artwork tab. This is mostly likely due to an incomplete fix to http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=8089 . It occurs whether or not 'Apply to all..' is enabled. I'll re-open that bug. 5) When re-ordering/deleting images via the Properties/Artwork tab, the artwork updates correctly (as shown by refreshing Properties > Artwork OR by looking at the Art&Details window), however, the AA/Art&Details view shows 'no image' for the artwork even though the artwork does appear correctly in the Properties/Artwork tab. It occurs whether or not 'Apply to all..' is enabled. This seems to be independent of the other bugs described above, and might be best tracked in this issue.
