| Description | Mass edits are very slow. This is most easily demonstrated with a large DB (100k+ files), disabling tagging, and then editing the Quality field for several thousand files. What should take seconds/minutes (as in MM3), takes tens of minutes in MM4. The workaround suggested by users is to first copy the several thousand tracks to be updated to e.g. the NP list, and then perform the mass edit. For whatever reason, the DB update then proceeds at the same speed as with MM3. | ||||

I think that workaround suggestion is to select another node which doesn't contain tracks that are updating, e.g. empty Now Playing node, not to copy tracks to NP. |

I've made some major improvements. In really big DB (more than 260k tracks) updating of 10k track take now ~1m (before it was more than 11m). |
