Summary0007983: Playlists resync to MTP device unnecessarily
DescriptionOn a clean install, upon auto-syncing several Artists, Albums, videos, etc. + one playlist to an MTP device (Zen Vision), the playlist (but not the content contained within) is resynced on each sync operation.

For some reason, this stopped occurring when a second playlist was added to the sync list.

Note also, that on occasion, playlists weren't deleted from the device (though tracks were) when playlists were removed from the auto-sync list.
Additional InformationDebug log attached (playlist is a Deathcab for cutie playlist), you'll see it being deleted and then synced.

Fixed in build 1396.

However, there's one sub-issue remaining - playlist aren't deleted on synchronizations, except for the first auto-sync, i.e.:

This works:
1. Have already playlists A and B synchronized on device.
2. Start MM.
3. Remove B from auto-sync list.
4. Synchronize => Playlist B is properly removed.

However if between steps 2&3 above one auto-sync is made, Playlist B isn't deleted during step 4. Apparently, device content (playlists) isn't properly cached in MM => assigning to Ludek.

I cannot reproduce (tested with iPod Nano 2G and Creative ZEN X-Fi), which device you tested?

I tested with Zen Vision, however, users reported the same issue with several other MTP devices/devices using the wmdm plugin (Zen Vision M, Zen, Zen X-fi, Android device).
