| Description | After though testing of MM I tried to Delete MM and make clean install of 1376. During Installation it appeared that MMHelper.dll was locked After using free http://emcosoftware.com/unlock-it app and at first hand it looke that MMhelper.dll was not locked by system, but after additional checks on MM folder it looke that it was Locked by process XBMC which I used for uPnP/DLNA testings. | ||||

It is related but why XBMC locked file. There should be no relations. |

for what it's worth, I've also found over the course of MM4 testing, that MediaMonkey occasionally gets locked by other apps. |

Reminder sent to: petr You are most familiar with InnoSetup I wonder is it possible to handle error within InnoSetup or even better let MM Install Automatically Rename MMhelper (and other known files that can cause this issue like DeskPlayer for example) on Install and let delete it on MM startup? |

Ludek, isn't the issue that it was fixed previously (see bug 0000388), and is occurring again in MM4? |

Peke, as you can reproduce, could you verify whether it is regression or not? i.e. in 0000388 both me and Stephen indicated that the broadcast solution helped, could you test MM3 and MM4 to see whether it really helped or whether it is a regression? |

Can't reproduce anymore in 1382 it looks that it is fixed along with recent uPnP/DLNA fixes. EDIT: Using 1376 file clearly get locked sometimes when using XbMC to access MM Media Server. |

It happen to me again with 1412 while browsing MM server using XBMC and I changed Media Share Settings. Reopening to create Debug LOG. |

After unlock of MMhelper.dll that was locked by XBMC and allowing 1413 to install I could not replicate the problem no matter what I've done. |
