2) When single clicking in empty space the selection is lost (expected), but Art & Details still shows art for previously selected file. Normal nodes do behave the same by showing art of last selected file and loose full row selection, but remain showing a field selection (dotted line around single field of previously selected filed) (inconsistency).
The Now Playing behavior becomes more problematic when AutoDJ removes played tracks as now user has no way of knowing which file actions will be done on.
Windows Explorer on the other hand does maintain selection on file on clicking empty space (file isn't highlighted but maintains dotted selection line, file context menu items are disabled though). On Windows 7 the Preview pane will loose preview when clicking on empty space.

3) Most context menu items are enabled when right clicking on empty space (not expected and not consistent with other nodes) and affect previously selected file.
