| Description | VirtualCD: ---------- 1. Due the fact that more and more devices have 16GB+ of space and waiting to MM do AutoConvert on each sync is painful. As VirtualCD is already GOLD feature it could be useful if we can redesign destination format for VirtualCD and make dialog similar to Auto-Convert used in Sync. NOTE: Currently VirtualCD is not designed to handle Video Files and doing redesign we will solve that issue 1a. Secondary purpose would be that in case that some tracks are converted during Device Sync Process converted track is automatically saved into VirtualCD so that on next Sync there is no need for converting but VirtualCD track would be used 2. I would Suggest that VirtualCD should be renamed to VirtualCache for easier understanding 3. Handling of multiple devices Auto-Convert settings and avoiding duplicates in VirtualCD (Maybe AddingSomething Like "Clear Auto-Convert VirtualCache files" where we would handle multiple files in VirtualCache using some sort of Sufix to filename or similar (This is little bit complicated to handle than others and needs to be investigated due the changes to MM.DB and adding VirtualCD table with track parameters) Preview: -------- 4. Previews do not handle Video Files, as Most of newer GPUs natively support hardware encoding to WMV thru Device drivers and Windows (Both Ati and nVidia) it would be useful to make previews available for Video Files also. | ||||
