Summary0007189: Video Zoom functionality doesn't act in relation to Video resolution
DescriptionOn most video players, the Zoom function sets the video size in relation to the video's resolution. e.g. setting Zoom to 100% causes the video to display at the resolution it was recorded at (anamorphic adjustments aside).

In MM4, however, the Zoom function performs in relation to the current image size. It shouldn't.

Then we should add some "Touch from inside" (maybe also "Touch from outside"?) option, to allow dynamic changing of video size in reaction to container window size changes. Or you prefer something else? I also saw "Autofit to window". I think, some autofit option should be the default. Should we differentiate it somehow between cover window playback, enlarged window and fullscreen?

UI text should be along the lines of:
Fit video to Window on resize [enable by default]
Fit Window to video

Note however, we may want to defer implementing 'Fit Window to video' because unlike WMP, MM uses the Main Window to play the video and when the video is over, the Tracklist re-appears within the window (without resizing the window). If we add an option to 'Fit player to video' then we'd have to have the main window automatically resize back to the size that it was prior to the video playing in Full Window mode.

As far as the terminology goes, that covered in bug 0006976:
Art & Details Window, Full Window, Full Screen

Fixed in build 1346. I did not implement 'Fit Window to video' feature, because it could be problematic (e.g. in case of small videos), and I am not sure if it is really necessary, will see, if users will request it.
