| Description | It is important not only where you click on the tracklist, but also where you release the mouse. If you release a mouse over the text of some row - that row would be selected, but if you release a mouse over an empty space of that field - that row would be unselected. But, even more worse that that - all rows which have text shorter than that (is not covered with the selection box) would not be selected. This isn't working perfectly in build 1252. If you create a narrow selection rectangle, some tracks will not be selected. The forum thread has a couple of images that better describes the problem. note: the remaining issue doesn't normally occur, so if it's risky, it can be pushed. |

Here is how selection of files works in Vista Explorer: 1. If I click on an unselected row, it is important if I click on a text part or an empty space (if I click on a text part I could start drag & drop operation of that row, but if I click on an empty area I could start selection of rows, i.e. the selection box is invoked); 2. If I click on some selected row(s) it is not important where I click on it(them) - it could be a text part or an empty space, but in both cases if I move mouse with pressed button I am starting drag & drop operation. MM has same behavior as Vista only for 1. case, but not for 2. In MM, if I click on some selected row(s) it is important where I click on it(them). If you are interested, I have two AVI files with screen movie capture, one with MM and another with Vista Explorer 600 KB each. |

It has same behavior in 1259 as before, i.e. it is not fixed. |
