| Description | It seems that the initial part of "Locate moved/missing files" feature of "Scanning for moved files in ... ( X files scanned)" is slower in MM5 because for some reason MM5 reads also file tags while scanning in MM4 isn't doing the tag reading. | ||||

Closing as it was test error. In MM4 tested on database that had already the files in database, in MM5 used another database not including the files and thus it is reading the file tags for the second pass in the scan process, in the first pass only filename + data modified are compared, in the second pass also the artist/album/title. This has been always the case also in MM4. |
