Summary0018165: Dialogs resize after switching between monitors
DescriptionIf MM is first opened on one monitor, then switched to a second smaller monitor, and a dialog is opened, then the dialog resizes to an unusable size. e.g.
0 Configure laptop/monitor to run in Extended mode, and close monitor lid (so that only the much higher resolution monitor is being used).
1 Run MM and open a dialog (Tools > Rip CD)
--> Dialog appears normally
2 Close the Rip CD dialog
3 Open the laptop lid
--> all apps appear on the laptop screen as expected
4 Open Tools > Rip CD
--> Dialog appears resized to unusable proportions on the laptop screen!
5 Close the Rip CD dialog
6 Close the laptop lid
7 Open Tools > Rip CD
--> Dialog appears resized to unusable proportions on the laptop screen!

EDIT: at step 1 MM is running in a window sized at half of the screen. If it is running in the right half of the screen, the bug occurs. If it's running in the left half of the screen, the bug doesn't occur!

Are you able to reproduce in latest build (as i cannot reproduce) ?

Yes, I can replicate it, but the steps are a bit more involved than originally described. The issue occurs when doing a combination of resizing the window (by maximizing it) and switching between the laptop screen and a hi res monitor. e.g.

0 Configure laptop/monitor to run in Extended mode, and close monitor lid (so that only the much higher resolution monitor is being used).
1 Run MM in 1/4 of the screen and open a dialog (Tools > Rip CD)
--> Dialog appears normally
2 Close the Rip CD dialog
3 Open the laptop lid
--> all apps appear on the laptop screen as expected
4 Open Tools > Rip CD
--> Dialog appears as expected
5 Close the Rip CD dialog
6 Close the laptop lid
--> MM displays on the monitor as expected
7 Maximize the Window
8 Open Tools > Rip CD
--> Dialog appears as expected
9 Close the Rip CD dialog
10 Open the laptop lid
--> MM displays on the laptop as expected
11 Open Tools > Rip CD
--> The dialog is resized to unusable proportions on the laptop screen!
12 Close the dialog
13 Close the laptop lid
--> MM appears on the monitor as expected (filling the entire window)
14 Open the Rip CD dialog
--> The dialog is resized to unusable proportions on the monitor
