Re-opened:

I am not the author of the "Level Volume Level" feature, but I would expect that volume level applies the coeficients so the resulted coef. should be zero. But trying it now it seems to go from 7 dB to something like -0.28 dB after the track is leveled. I would expect rather 0.0 dB.
To be verified whether this behaviour is OK and unify it with tracks leveled during Cd Rip

It seems all very old (15+ years) code originally written by Jiri.
I am not sure what's expected here, assigned to Jiri to triage.

This seems to be ok, as there's only some granularity available when applying gain to mp3 files.
