Further testing shows that the issue isn't specific to .m4v files--it also occurred with an MP4 file. Also, not that these files have pre-existing thumbnails, but those thumbnails disappear as soon as a video is played (at least until the view is refreshed)! Raised to 5.0, since the behavior is really bizarre / buggy for a new user. |

I can cause other .m4v / mp4 Music Video tracks to get into this state by selecting the track > Properties > Artwork and deleting all artwork. |

Further testing shows that the issue is View-dependent: - In the List (by Album) view: certain tracks always experience the AA 'instability' - In the List view (if 'Artwork' is enabled): tracks that experience the 'instability' always show no arttwork - In the Grid (by Album) view: tracks that experience the 'instability' always show their artwork |

Tested 2302. The AA instability seems to be resolved. However, thumbnails still fail to generate for some videos--need to retest in greater depth to see exactly what scenarios fail. |
