Summary0001597: Automated / Simple lookup of Album art for newly inserted CD
DescriptionIf the user inserts a CD, we do a Freedb lookup and automatically display track properties. Since we now support Album Art, we should lookup and display album art as most other CD Rippers do.

If the user tries to Rip the CD, this metadata should be added to the tracks / library as per the user's settings.

Possible partners:
a) gracenote for this
b) Amazon for this
c) gd3

An interesting alternative proposed by a user would be to allow automatic lookup via Amazon for ripping operations. This subset of functionality might satisfy the majority of usecases, and make more sense to implement:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3070

A possible implementation would be that when the Rip CD dialog would have an Auto-Tag from Amazon button that would allow the user to choose what additional metadata to use.

Just a thought...

Currently, the most significant issue is that the user can't even manually update Album Art prior to ripping. i.e. user expects to:
1) insert CD
2) correct metadata
3) update album art (via AutoTag from Amazon)
4) Rip

But, the user can't do step 3--they get an error indicating that the album art can't be saved to the CD. What should happen is that it should be saved in a manner similar the cdplayer.ini.

note:a fix to the above is still only a partial fix re. the fact that Album Art cannot be edited in advance. A preferable fix is to fully resolve 0002624

We added artwork auto lookup when viewing artwork, we could use the engine for this purpose, assigned to me.
