Just tested this and it works as expected.

The 'Artist' and 'Album' sub-directories are created under the /Playlists/ as expected. i.e.
/Playlists/Artist/<artist>.m3u
/Playlists/Album/<album artist> - <album>.m3u
/Playlists/Playlist/<playlist name>.m3u

So this sounds just like a test error that you haven't expanded the /Playlists/ directory on the Snap4

There is no /Playlists/Playlists/ folder in Snap4 I am already in in /Playlists/ folder and its content is shown in Snap4 I attached Snap5 to show content of /Playlists/Playlist/ folder.

It was retested number of times during session (I thought the same as you) with Same result
Playlists/Artist/
Playlists/Album/
Playlists/Rating/
are not created

Are you syncing Whole music or just selected Artists/Albums

Also If Creation of Playlists for Artists/Albums is checked shouldn't they be created even User selected only content from playlists?

So are you able to always replicate this with some devices or it happened only during remote session with a user?

If you can replicate then please attach debug log.

Yes it happened in Remote session and yes I can replicate it each time.

Uploaded to FTP MMW LOG File, Device Profile, Sync Settings, PICS from device storage after sync is finished.

NOTE: All tracks are synced as shown on pic, but device do not have and will not have MMA installed (do not support MMA)

P.S. As if device have MMA installed current workaround would be to do a WiFi Sync and playlists will be resynced.

The issue seems to be that the artists selected on Snap 3 has no tracks.
e.g. the tracks of artist "The 4th of coming", "ZZ top" etc. are not on the sync list.
The playlist for artist/album are generated only when particular artist/album is selected on the sync list, it has been always like this.

i.e. try this test:
1) delete all music/playlist content from the device
2) Add just [Music > Artist > ZZ top] on the sync list
3) Ensure that the "ZZ top" artist has some tracks
4) Sync
=> verify that the tracks by ZZ top are there together with the /Playlists/Artist/ZZ top.m3u

Pictures from Snap1-5 were from Remote sessions and it would be very hard to get them in timely event and should be considered obsolete, now that I was able to find MTP Device that replicate same behavior and used it to upload all to FTP during 0015309:0051981 note

I can for sure confirm that Album and Artist Playlists are not created.

NOTE: You can check all the sync settings and Artists using MM.DB you requested during test of 0015314 and both tests use same device profile.

Please do the following:

1) Run DBGView
2) delete all music/playlist content from the device
3) Add just [Music > Artist > Artist1] on the sync list (Artist1 can be whatever artist)
4) Ensure that the Artist1 artist has tracks and that they are not deadlinks
5) Sync
=> verify that the tracks by Artist1 are on the device together with the /Playlists/Artist/Artist1.m3u and upload the debug log

I have finally being able to create full log from start, clean device (no MediaMonkey folder) and no device profile, so my two logs uploaded to FTP will cover:
1. complete creation of device profile its settings and sync settings along with sync, failed sync(device is filled with tracks not on sync list), no playlist creation in Playlists (video of complete process is supplied, along with confirmation that sync selected tracks are accessible and playable)
2. confirming that using steps Ludek requested at 0015309:0052007 also do not create Artist playlist in device playlist folder

MMDC setting and MM.DB supplied previously are used in this test with exception that new device profile is created with identical settings as MMDC supplied in previous logs.

New LOG and Video File are uploaded to FTP.

Verified 1883

Playlist are now created, closing for now. Will retest more after I get some device that will sync and create several hundred playlists.
