| Description | There is a common problems that users report regarding either accessing UPnP server or setting up a Sync. I have found few things that are essential in solving them. 1. No refresh button/context menu if there is at least one server on network. 2. As talked offine: [26.06.2018. 00:13:26] Bohac Martin: 1. Refresh button should not be needed, all available servers should appear automatically. 2. Do you mean to have shortcut to favorite UPnP server without searching all available UPnP servers? [26.06.2018. 00:17:20] Pavle Lacarac (PekeNS): 1. I have an issue from tonight MMW and PLEX server is seen but MM5 do not and I can't simply refresh search for servers. 2. I would like to enter direct URI to MM5 server in order to see if MMA can read it to determine if it is even accessible, But like you pointed it could be useful to be able directly enter URI to UPnP server in both UPnP browser and sync server settings. |

UI should be simple ------------ Server IP/Name: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/MMSYNC_PC Server Port: port [x] Advanced Full Server URL: http(s)://IP:port/DeviceDescription.xml (Refilled with Above info if available) ------------ [ADD] Advanced would be disabled by default as entering IP and Port MMA can easily generate http://IP:port/DeviceDescription.xml NOTE: Long Press on Server should allow user to remove it from list. |

It works. Few tweaks needed. 1. Not Implemented yet and it is a problem when user have Saved Servers. Guess refresh ICON left of ADD server icon Which will then show our busy icon. 2a. Save icon is not shown until user re enter Select sync server 2b. I would rather fill "http://" and "/DeviceDescription.xml" within MMA rather than let user fill whole URL like I pointed in 0014906:0051938 2c. Full URL edit should not allow multi-line edit. I guess when this is done we should move 3. to new bug? |
