Item 3 doesn't appear to be resolved in 2096. Could it be in 2097?

4) Also, I think that if we need the panel expand/collapse toggles on the navigation bar (see 0014703) then the menu button should be moved to the title bar. It's not ideal, since as Michal pointed out in 0014703, the menu normally appears on the right side in MD apps, but it doesn't really make sense there in MM because it can't be placed on the right edge.

Item 3 fixed in 2097. Assign to Jiri for item 4 feedback.

I think that the '...' icon alone in the titlebar would be a bit confusing. I wonder though, if we add 'MediaMonkey' text (currently missing) there, it could be used to open the main menu? And, since this is a non-stardard approach, it might be followed by the '...' icon to make it clear what it does. I.e. the result would be:

[MM icon] MediaMonkey [...] [Tab1] [Tab2] [Tab3]

I'm not sure whether adding 'MediaMonkey' would make a difference. Assuming we continue with this approach, I suggest trying without the 'MediaMonkey'.

The root of the problem is the location of the current toggles. There's no question that the toggle functionality is useful. But an alternative approach that may be worth considering would be to place the toggles in the upper left corner of the Left Panel / upper right corner of the right panel (this would require getting rid of the contextual 'close' buttons in the Playing/Selected titlebars).

Enabled menu bar by default and hide title when menu bar is activated.

Per IM discussion with the devs, we'll enable the main menu by default. It doesn't resolve the issue of Menu button placement, but makes it less important. We can reopen this in case we have a better idea how to solve it (or when we somehow modify MM5 UI in the future).

When doing a clean install (2097):
1) Monkey Groove is still the default skin
4) The menu bar isn't enabled by default (I assume this is probably fixed in 2098?)
