2. The bug seems to be a bit worse than settings not being displayed. The settings also seem to reset to 'default' even after the user changes them to something other than the default.

e.g. set ALAC settings to a different bitrate and click OK
--> new bitrate appears
click 'Settings'
--> settings are reset to default.

3. I Agree that we have multiple Codecs for different Containers/Extensions, but these needs to be handled correctly. Currently We have M4A (AAC/ALAC), ALAC M4A/M4B/MP4 We either should show M4A Container and list others under it or Show All iterations separately. This is confusing and even it is related to Codec Pack and main free codec it can lead to reports that something is not right.

Note: 1-2 should be fixed for MM4.x and 3 can be pushed to MM5

re 1) we display only non-default settings in MMW (ALAC is lossless and does not have bitrate setting). Displaying "Codec: ALAC" for encoding to ALAC M4A is redundant I think.

re 2) it is bug, will be fixed.

re 3) should be specced in separate issue for MM5. We do not have separated codecs for stream format and for container format. User can have two plugins for M4A/M4B/MP4, default ALAC codec, which can encode audio stream to ALAC only, and AAC codec plugin, which can encode to ALAC or AAC. How to differentiate them?

1) I would show at least "Codec: Default" this way it looks like incomplete/not working

After fix, can you please assign it to Jiri/Rusty for 3) MM5 Spec and possible simplified UI review

OK, fixed so it displays "Default" values too (same as in MM5).

3. I don't see a need for any changes, but leaving assigned to Rusty to review.
