Summary0014123: Search for 'hot hot hot' fails to find matching track
DescriptionWhen I search for: hot hot hot , MM5 fails to find

Title: Hot Hot Hot
Artist: The Merrymen
Track: Feeling Hot Hot Hot - The Merrymen.m4a

Not sure if this is because the same word is appearing several times in the search criteria. The problem occurs for both Global and contextual search.

When I search for: hot hot hot
MM5 finds the pretty same results as for hot (including Hotel) as expected.
So I cannot replicate the issue.

But I have found that once the "hot hot hot" is quoted then it shows no results, this seems to happen for _any_ quoted string.
Fixed as 0014127

Is this what you were observing?

I was observing that both hot hot hot and "hot hot hot" failed to return the desired result. I've posted the relevant file to the ftp server.

I scanned your track into my library and both hot hot hot and "hot hot hot" finds the track as expected.

But the 'Hot Hot Hot' is only in the track title so you must look into the Tracks section where it can be harder to locate because there is plenty of tracks including just 'Hot' in title. So workaround is to search for double-quoted "Hot Hot Hot".

If you are not seeing the same then please upload your MM.DB so that I could replicate.

Search for "hot hot hot" works. Resolving.
