| Description | On lollipop, MediaMonkey (1.1.2 release, 1.1.2 beta and 1.1.3 beta) all fail to show the MediaMonkey icon and associated notification play controls when playback is initiated. The playback controls only appear _after_ the user has pressed pause _in the application_. This results in situations such as: a) Bluetooth playback is initiated in car, but there's no display of what's playing b) User initiates playback on device, lock screen activates, and there's no indication of what's playing c) User initiates playback on device, switches to a different app, and there's no way to control audio other than by re-running MMA. | ||||

Note: this should probably be fixed in 1.1.2 if low risk. Otherwise we'll introduce it into the 1.1.3 beta which should begin shortly. |

I can't replicate it. Does it mean that notification isn't displayed during playback? It seems to me, that all of it has same reason, that MMA notification is disabled. To clarify: a) Bluetooth: Please try build 1.1.3 there is used new lollipop feature MediaSession to do this. b) In lollipop's lock screen there is no native playback controls, there is notification with control buttons only. c) It means that notification is not displayed, right? So please check Settings: 1) Sound¬ification/App notifications/Media Monkey 2) Apps/Media Monkey - checkbox "Show notifications" should be enabled |
