Summary0012417: Streaming playback buffer customization
DescriptionSome streams have high Ping and packet drops when scanned It could be usefull if we can detect these small drops (usually around 300-800ms) and increase playback buffer (MM5)

For quick fix adding INI value that user can change would be more than enough.

I also cannot reproduce with the streams provided via the ticket and forum link.

But maybe we could try to increase the buffer size from 64 KB to 256 KB to see whether it will work better for the user then.

I increased the buffer to 256 KB in build 4.1.6.1724

Peke, please test this on various radio streams and collect info from the user whether this helps.

Yes, stream handling was modified/improved in MM5.

Are you still able to replicate it in MM4?
If yes then please attach logs from both MM4 and MM5 to compare, but we can probably just resolve this as "fixed in MM5".

Verified 2215

Not reported recently, and I rechecked/tested for 30 min in both 2215 and 1895
