Summary0012384: UPnP connections stop working sometimes
DescriptionSome users have reported problems with UPnP connections. I happened to observe this and was able to generate a log immediately afterwards.

What happened is that a USB sync failed partway through. Then I attempted to connect to a UPnP server, but NONE of my UPnP servers were visible (there are 4 of them)!

Debug ID: O4VDYFHBI9

Re-running MMA had no effect. This situation resolved itself only after rebooting the device.

Btw I am able to reproduce it sometimes too. But only restart of PC is helpful. Because in MMA, I can see servers on other PCs.

I have added some improvement to build 351 that repeats the connection. So it will solve the cases where repeating of sync helps.

But the logs are still the same. Something has to block it. I don't see any incoming message. MMA sends request in correct format (checked many times before) and no response arrives.

Are you always able to see your server in other apps, because when it occur for me, other apps fail too. You have to try it at the same time, same condition, same device.

The bug that I observed was definitely not an MMW issue, since all of my UPnP servers weren't visible, not just MMW. Moreover, users who experience the issue have indicated that just retrying to connect doesn't solve the problem.

I'll try to collect more feedback.
