Peke, I know that you solved something over remote session with the user from ticket CYW-884-32036 , but I cannot know what it was exactly.

Could you please update the bug description with exact steps to reproduce and describing what exactly the issue is?

There is no steps,

Just disable WEB in Tools -> Options -> Library -> Media Tree and reinstall MMW

After First start Welcome screen is Shown without any obvious visual presentation that WEB node is shown and users often search for OK button, without knowing that they need to switch to any other tree node to continue usage.

ok, disabled WEB in Tools -> Options -> Library -> Media Tree and reinstalled MMW, result is on the attached screenshot, welcome screen is shown, but no Web node (as expected), I don't understand what the issue is here?

As talked on IM: Welcome screen is outdated and behaves like no other app, by requesting user to click on Tree to be able to continue using the app.

@Rusty, do you remember why we show Welcome screen on each re-install or build update although we already have the first time wizard that is shown only on the first time installation?

Assigned to Rusty for revision.

The main reason is that it gives us a place to communicate with the user if needed.

Since this is the first time we have ever heard of this problem, I don't think any changes are really required, though we should keep this in mind for MM5.

i.e. the user can just click a music node or any tree node to access their collection (since in MM4 hiding the tree dialog doesn't really make any sense).

Can you triage and not show this for GOLD Users on Reinstall?

This will be fixed in MM5. In the meantime, I've edited the content that appears to make it more useful/less annoying.
