| Description | Hotkeys: 1) Global column is cut off (displays 'Glob...' instead of 'Global'). This is due to the column being too narrow. 2) Player > Choose Player: MiniPlayer transparency button is improperly aligned (button height should match the height of the combo button to the left) 3) Player > Choose Player > Use default external video player CH (=Context Help): Plays videos via the system's default video player instead of in MediaMonkey 4) Downloads/Podcasts > Show removed episode links CH: Displays all episodes including those that have previously been deleted 5) Metadata lookup a) Search for missing lyrics automatically CH: Looks up lyrics if they're missing, for the currently playing file. b) Save missing lyrics automatically CH: Saves the change without confirmation. c) Search for missing artwork automatically CH: Looks up artwork if it's missing, for the currently playing file. b) Save missing artwork automatically CH: Saves the change without confirmation. (use string from 5b) 6) Media Sharing a) 'Enabled' column is cut off (displays 'Ena...' instead of 'Enabled') b) Install as service --> Install as service... c) In the devices list, 'Enabled' column is cut off (displays 'Enabl...' instead of 'Enabled') d) Update play counter for items played over UPnP/DLNA CH: Increases the play counter for items played via this server. This may not be accurate for partially played tracks. e) Server context help for Accept external IP addresses: Permits connections from addresses external to the local network. Not recommended if Wifi Sync is enabled. --> Unblocks connections from addresses outside the local network. Not recommended if Wi-Fi sync is enabled. f) Show index for categories with many entries: CH: Displays an index in UPnP/DLNA clients if the number of entries exceeds the configured value. 7) Appearance > Always open Tools dialogs in standalone windows CH: Opens tool dialogs (e.g. Burn CD) in a standalone window instead of within the main MediaMonkey window. 8) Media Tree a) 'Visible' column is partially hidden. It shows 'Visib...' instead of 'Visible'. b) Collection options Enable Grouping (Artwork views) --> Enable grouping (Artwork views) c) Enable grouping (Artwork views) CH: Groups files based on the primary sort field. 9) Portable Devices a) Scan as soon as the device is connected CH: Once scanned, MediaMonkey can accurately display the contents of the device. May be slow in some cases, though. b) Grant remote sync / access rights... CH: Allows remote MediaMonkey clients to sync via Wi-Fi, if they've also been granted rights to library content (by default, initial attempts by a device to connect will trigger a prompt). c) Delete other files and playlists from the device: CH: Deletes files that aren't selected in the Auto-sync list. d) Auto-Sync new files and playlists from the device to the PC. CH: Syncs files on the Auto-Sync List back to the Library, if the copy on the device is more recent than the copy in the Library. --> TBD.... Syncs files from the selected folders on the device to the PC. e) Auto-sync file metadata from the device to the PC CH: TBB:.... Syncs updated metadata such as ratings and play counts from the device to the PC. f) Enforce use of sync mask for files already on the device CH: Automatically organizes files on the device according to the settings above. This can take a lot of time if the sync masks are modified. g) Other media files CH: Describes any other directories that should be scanned for media. TBD: shouldn't this be synced with the "Choose Library Folders" setting in MMA? h) Sync playlists (recommended) CH: New: Sync playlists automatically Also, the current string "Create playlists to more easily navigate the tracks on a device" should be moved to 'Generate device Playlists for:' Artists, Albums, Locations. | ||||
