It seems that MP3 playback with custom rules may cause Access Violations. I've send in several AV logs for 1635 the last couple days and they seem to have happened after MMA (which has custom rules) played over UPnP from MMW (Access Violations are after I return to PC after several hours). MMA UPnP playback seems to fail after couple of tracks (so far only tested when going to sleep).

I'm also noticing that MMW server is missing play counts for most (not all though) tracks served over UPnP to MMW client.

Played files with MMA through UPnP with custom conversion rules disabled and encounter several problems:
1) Access Violations in log
2) Access Violation on screen (AV send)
3) Skipping songs
4) Repeating songs (phil collins - true love was repeated twice)
5) Showing wrong info (second time phil collins was played it showed as luis miguel song on MMA)

It seems that MMA's MP3 playback problem was caused by level track volume being enabled in the Media Server. This would be a regression by 0010716.

I have not yet have a chance to test if MMW as client was also affected (skipped playback) or if this in any way affects FLAC playback (original issue).

You seem to be true, I can reproduce the AV for files that needs transcoding in 1635. Seems to be a regression introduced while fixing 0010715

Fixed as 0010803

Re: The original issue, I cannot reproduce it and the log is from the server side where I see that whole FLAC was transferred, so it doesn't look like a problem with server (unless it was somehow affected by 0010803 )

I would suggest to ensure that all conversion rules are disabled and then (if the issue appears) generate debug log from both MMW client and MMW server.

Disabling level volume also fixed the FLAC playback issue and play count tracking on the server. So it seems all UPnP Playback issues are caused by the level volume option being enabled.

OK, so the symptoms are same as 0010803 , i.e. when conversion is involved, then it fails.

Closing for now
