Summary0010481: Subtitles are not synced via USB
DescriptionFrom MMW build 1618 / MM8 build 21 we sync SRT subtitles over WiFi (see 0010373 )
The SRT is downloaded to the same folder with tha same filename as video file.

I guess that we sould do the same also in case of USB sync, but we might want to have this configurable?

So maybe a new checkbox could be needed in Device profile options?

And once we add this, then we should ensure that also MMA is capable to sync SRT over WiFi (and probably also to show them).

Fixed in build1624

Is this really that important--i.e. do the subtitles take up that much space that syncing by default could be a problem?

We could used the following string in the 'Tagging' options:
[ ] Sync video subtitles

Yes, I agree that the config doesn't seem to be that important so I will implement to always sync subtitles for videos.

We can add the config later.

Fixed in build 1624.

.SRT, .SUB, .SMI, .SSA, .ASS are automatically copied with the same filename as video file.

They are handled like artwork files and are automatically deleted when folders needs to be emptied (in case user configured to auto delete unsynchronized files from the device)

I haven't added the other formats (.XSS, .PSB, .TXT), because these are not so common and mostly are not supported. Also TXT can have a different content than subtitles.
