Product Version4.1
Target Version4.1Fixed in Version4.1
Summary0010320: DLNA Players should be integrated into Options|Player
DescriptionSelect Player to select an External DLNA client is only available in the context menu of the Player.

1) It should also be available in the Main Menu, probably in the Play sub-menu.
2) Tools > Options > Player controls MediaMonkey vs. WinAmp Player. This should probably be more unified with Select Player options. Select Player options should have MediaMonkey and WinAmp (or external local player) as options and Tools > Options > Player should have default local player and the ability to select external DLNA client as well.

Proposed UI:

Choose Player: _[MediaMonkey Player, Winamp 2 or 5, UPnP/DLNA Renderer]_
               _________________________________________________________ [button]

Note:
- If MediaMonkey Player is selected, then nothing appears below
- If Winamp 2 or 5 is selected, then the following appears: __C:\Program Files (x86)\Winamp\WinAmp.exe__ [browse]
- If UPnP/DLNA Renderer is selected, then the following selector appears: __<Renderer1>__________^
- Also, re. the 'Select Player' context menu option, we already have a 'Choose Player' string (i.e. no need to introduce another string).

Sounds good, but you haven't replied 1) that LL suggested.

I think that it is hard to find in Options as there are many options and panels
Maybe at least the "Setup Player" shortcut should be in the Play menu (similarly as is in the player's right click menu)?
Probably as the last item of Play sub-menu (below Volume leveling)?

ok, we can add an '[options icon] Options...' entry (so that wording is consistent across menus.

A toolbar button that would expand to show all possible player options available would be good to as some users run most things through toolbars.

Implemented in 1621.

Re the toolbar button:
It is possible, every user can customize toolbars and add "Setup Player" manually there.

It would be nicer if a new toolbar button (Select Player) was created that has a drop down of available Players for quick switching.
