As described at 0019714, when artwork is looked up, the resulting images:
- can be blank (as in the case of Paul Simon - Rhythm of the Saints) when a single source contains 40+ hi-resolution images
- can be irrelevant (when booklet art is presented instead of album art)

A solution to this is to:
- Look up a limited number of thumbnails (without presenting them) from each source
- Present 2-4 thumbnails from each source, preferring those that are square
- Present the remaining thumnails following the above

If the user edits the lookup criteria and then clicks the 'lookup image' button, MMA appears to be frozen because the keyboard obscures the 'Searching' indicator and the search results.

A trivial fix would be that when the user taps 'lookup image', the keyboard is closed.

Track and Disk # file tags are not editable in MMA track properties and some users wants to be able to manually correct this and sync corrections back to MMW.

Currently lyrics and artwork are editable via the Playing dialogs (Playing > Art and Playing > Lyrics), but these fields aren't editable via the Properties dialog. (Conversely, the Properties dialog allows various fields to be edited, but this requires extra steps in the Playing view).

Ideally, any property that is supported and editable in the Playing view should also be editable in the Properties view and vice versa. This could be implemented by:
1) Making the Properties dialog a full-screen view that is scrollable in the same manner as the Playing view. In other words, it would have tabs for:
Basic | Art | Lyrics

2) Similarly, for the Playing, view a tab can be added e.g.
Queue | Art | Lyrics | Properties

Reported in the forum and I can confirm as well:

The following both fail to lookup in MMA 2
Paula Cole - I Don't Want to Wait (from This Fire)
Paula Cole - Where Have all the Cowboys gone (from This fire)

And the following looks up incorrectly:
Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath (from the album Black Sabbath)

0021502: Properties dialog: Path no longer visible (regression)

In earlier versions of MMA, the Properties dialog showed file paths and if the file paths were too long to fit, they would scroll.

In MMA 2.0.3, the Path is shown, but if it's too long to display it gets truncated and the user can't see the full path or filename.

I found the original solution (scrolling) to be a bit annoying. Would it make sense to rearrange things slightly so that > 1 line can be used for path? e.g.

Build 1319 crashes when saving artwork in some cases. I was able to trigger this as follows, though I'm not certain whether this can be replicated.

1 Enable auto-lookups
2 Play Enya - One by One
--> Artwork is looked up
3 Disable auto-lookup
4 Play Enya - One by One
5 Edit artwork
6 Set to apply to all tracks on the album
7 Choose previously looked up image save to the cache
8 Click 'save'
--> MM crashes/playback stops

Step to reproduce
1) Change track rating in Now playing/Art
2) Let the playback finish to transfer to the next track. (We cannot use the next action to replicate it, but we can jump to a position near the end of the track)
3) When the next track starts playing, hit the prev action or swipe left on metadata to play the previous track. The track has an old rating, even though everywhere else(queue, properties), the rating is correct

When the user navigates to an album, MMA displays the Artwork/Missing artwork + basic album metadata, but there's no obvious way to edit these attributes. Instead the user must select track(s) and edit them.

Could we change this so that if the user taps the artwork/metadata area that an 'Edit' button appears (similar to the Playing [Artwork view]) allowing the user to edit the artwork/metadata for the album?

note: the Properties tab that should be in focus should depend on whether the user taps the Album Art or the metadata.

Based on your log 5NFX261V1H, I can see that the problem is with the song "SelectionChange".

MMA receives a list of converted tracks from the server that are ready, but the subsequent download attempt fails, interrupting the synchronization.

There are two issues:
1) In that case, MMA should skip the track and continue.
2) The track should not be on the ready-to-download list.

If user disable save album art to files folders and enable Copy Album Art to tags in device sync profile, then on next sync MM do do not delete existing albumart.jpg (or any JPGs) in file folders making MMA do not show correct Album art for files.

Possibly it should also delete ".thumbs" folder from device too to ensure GMS rescan the files tags and update MMA library entries.

We should add ability for user to send us Sample file or file Information metadata for us to analyze, with possible Description of an issue observed.

Example: 32Bit FLAC play silently which will clearly help both users and us to debug issue and instruct user to resolve it.

Option to send us info should be available in track properties.

NOTE: Android natively support decoding 24/96 (newer versions 24/192) but not 32bit files, maybe we should create KB article about that too.
